Tillys BKLYN

After you’ve seen all the art Brooklyn offer, hop over to Tilly’s Bklyn. This restaurant kept the aesthetic of the 1940’s styled jazz bar it was before it was accommodated by the new owner. The copper laced bar, black and white tile floors, and cloudy windows give the venue an old feel. Tilly’s has an astonishing menu and sells wine-based cocktails and beers. Perfect for a bite to eat before ending the night.

Williamsburg Music Center

Last but not least wine down with a little bit of live jazz at the Williamsburg Music Center. This jazz club is filled with music, life, and stories. It’s been open since 1981 and has been a staple in the black music community. It’s a cozy little place that’s sure to grab her attention and give her a memory she’ll never forget.

Papa Rozier Farms

If you’re looking to surprise her with a gift be sure to go to Papa Rozier Farms first. It’s a Bushwick boutique that sells all-natural beauty products. This sister and brother owned boutique carries skin and hair moisturizers.

Whatever you do make sure you show mom she can have a good time.
